Set to be released on the 29th, Yuuri (now going by Hamagawa Yuuri) teased an MV clip of her upcoming digital single “Umi no Kanata”. The MV looks to be amazing and matches the Parsha Club song (one of our favorites) like the both were meant to be. We’re really looking forward to watching the entire video and adding Yuuri’s song to my summer playlist. For now, we’re listening to the original version which is available on Apple Music too!
The song will be available on Spotify, Apple Music, and the iTunes Store. The full MV is scheduled for the 30th.
Announced on the group’s Twitter, Chuning Candy (Chunican) member Yuuri will have her solo debut with a new single (the photo above is the artwork). The new song will have its debut on their radio show Chunapa on July 22nd.
Singer-songwriter Fukuda Yasuyuki will be rereleasing his 1st single “Sennen Hanabi” on August 10. The song is a beautiful ballad featuring his sanshin and acoustic guitar playing and the rerelease will have 4 tracks (the initial 2020 release featured the song only).
On July 7th Kiroro’s Tamashiro Chiharu released a new single and music video for her song “Inochi no Ki”. The song (translated to “Tree of Life” is about a sakura tree at the Yomitan junior high school that Chiharu attended and the MV features students from the school. The single is currently available in various streaming services.
Anly announced a new midsummer digital single “Cancel Machi no Koi” to be released on August 4th and that she will be touring in November for her Loop Pedal Set. Anly’s previous single, “Star Wink”, was released in January and she had to cancel her Okinawa concert in June due to the pandemic. The good news is she’ll finish her Loop Pedal Set tour in Okinawa on December 10th!
Hajime Chitose is celebrating her 20th anniversary of her indies career with the release of “Tokotowa” on August 4th. The album will feature a total of 11 songs with a mix of shimauta and Amami inspired songs (includes two versions of her hit song “Wadatsumi no Ki”).
J-pop vocal duo all at once has an upcoming single “Toshi wo Kasanete” (August 11th release date) that was composed by HY’s keyboard/vocalist Nakasone Izumi. The song is currently featured in Twinkle Race’s new CM.
MAX posted a few images from their upcoming single “Do Shot” (July 28 release date) on their Twitter account. The single is their 37th so three more songs to make it to their 40th release! “Do Shot” is currently available on various streaming services (pre-release?) so be sure to check it out.
