Our second video tutorial! Yay!
Today we go through changing those well-worn strings on your sanshin with brand new, curly-curly ones. Be sure to check out our growing (with two!) Video Page for more. 😉
Background on the filming of this video:
Filming was done with my MacBook’s built-in iSight camera and microphone and edited with Apple’s amazingly simple (I haven’t even read the instructions), yet powerful, iMovie 7. As this is only my second video, I’m still learning as I go and for my first tutorial, I noted that the audio level was low. Lo and behold, iMovie 7 has a way to boost the audio level so it’s a little better this time around. The hardest part of filming this was the positioning of the iSight camera, which you may not know is attached to the MacBook, and getting the right angle to film everything clearly.
The video is available for download over at Revver and can be viewed on YouTube too.
