Notes:
Produced by Takashi Nakagawa of the eclectic pop group Soul Flower Union, 2001’s “Spiritual Unity” marks the beginning of a string of CD recordings by the utasaa (folk singer) great Seijin Noborikawa. The full-album follows 1998’s “Howling Wolf” (OMCA-9001, Omagatoki Co., Ltd.) and 1991’s “Chyurabiki” (VICG-5164, Victor Musical Industries, Inc.). Refered to by his nickname, Seigwaa (he’s also known as the Okinawan Jimi Hendrix or jimihen after mastering kachaashii at age 11), he would go on to release several CD singles and albums with Respect Record culminating with the 2007 release of “It’s only Seigwa∼The Best of Noborikawa Seijin 1975-2004∼” (RES-118).
