Lyrics: BEGIN’s ‘Sanshin no Hana’

This song kept coming up in my blog stats so I’ll just make things easier by posting it. I romanized it in the style of the awesome Cherryblossom Garden site. (Tip: you can always try emailing me at karakuipress[at]gmail[dot]com and I’ll try my best to get the lyrics you’re searching for up on the blog.)

  4. @a_giu: It’s something that I’d be willing to work on but finding the free time will be the hard part. I already have it listed on my GTD for 2008.

  6. This is a great site by the way. I was really excited because my sanshin just came in today and I got to tune it with the help of the video lesson.

  7. @Mark: Thank you for the comments and congratulations on getting your sanshin. I’ll have more video tutorials up soon.

  8. those two songs are great! I started taiko a few months ago. I learned shimanchu nu takara (i’ll learn sanshin no hana very soon), and maybe im going to play it on a parade in argentina, because of the 100th anniversary of the okinawan inmigration. Thanks for the lyrics!

  9. Hi I first heard this song when i watched Nada Sou Sou. I really like the melody of the sanshin! Can someone please give me a link for the english translation of the lyrics? I’d love to be able to understand the song!

    THANKS!

  10. YAY~ Thank you so much!!! I am still trying to learn the Sanshin and this song seems pretty nice to try XP

After the basic traditional ones first though XD

  11. Can someone translate the lyrics (meaning wise) for me in English?

  12. can you send me sanshin no hanao, the song or let me go to the site to download? thank you.

  13. @sobrazz: Sadly, as of this writing, BEGIN’s music isn’t available on iTunes (US). Your best bet is to get the album from an online retailer like YesAsia or CDJapan.
